Here's another good news. We have just started (hopefully successful) cooperation with yestersen. It is one of the largest platforms in Poland, offering antiques, vintage and modern furniture and accessories. We are glad that SPLOT will now be presented among many global brands and design icons.
We want to boast that we have good press, this time foreign - SPLOT appeared in the Dutch edition of the ELLE magazine. An article about the Transforming Polish Design exhibition introduces Polish furniture brands to the international design scene. Among 10 Polish representatives of this industry, the favorite subject of the editorial office was the Hide Your Spirit bar made of blue wood, designed by Zofia Strumiłło-Sukiennik.
We like to share not only good news, but also knowledge. That is why the designers and founders of SPLOT together with Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego (Ministry of Culture and National Heritage)created an unusual animation which was part of a project #akcjasplot. Must Have Contest is a part the Lodz Design Festival since 2011. Every year the jury distinguishes Polish brands, designers and manufactuters who are the most innovative and influential. This is the ultimate tradeblazer award and it is a great honoru to receive it in the first year of our existance!
